Castillo de Canena is a family business of the Vanos family that has been producing quality olive oils for over 250 years. The company is named after the castle, which rises on the mountains of the municipality of Canena in the province of Jaén (Andalusia). The olive trees of the farm are located between the mountain ranges of Carzorla and Mágina in the valley Alto Guadalquivir. The olives are harvested at the perfect time from specially selected trees and brought to the mill in the shortest possible time. This procedure guarantees an olive oil quality of the highest quality that Castillo de Canena strives for.
