Established in 1977 by the Rivetti brothers - Georgio, Carlo, and Bruno - La Spinetta swiftly gained a devoted following. Under Giorgio's winemaking expertise, the estate transitioned from producing excellent Moscato wines to crafting exceptional Barbaresco, Barbera, and Barolo varieties, all while challenging traditional winemaking practices in Piedmont.
The wine offers aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, along with hints of oak and spices. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with flavors of ripe berries, subtle vanilla, and a touch of clove.
