William Deutz founded the champagne house in Ay in 1838, Deutz has been one of the best names ever since. They give the best of their professional knowledge with their precise, finely tuned champagnes. In addition to their own cultivated area of 46 hectares, they harvest the best quality, selected grapes from another 250 hectares. They have a respectable stock of base wines and reserve items, the blending is done by the cellar master Michel Davesne and the president and CEO Fabrice Rosset. Aging takes at least three years in their limestone cellars, and 7-10 years for prestige cuvées, which is why Deutz champagnes have an exceptionally silky foam. In addition to the harmony of elegance and complexity, their champagnes are characterized by a refined style. Their distinguishing feature is the elegant, unique bottle shape.
