The history of ARARAT, Armenia's oldest brandy, goes back more than 130 years, until 1887, when the country's first brandy distillery was founded. The pioneering spirit embodied by the founders, Nerses and Vasily Tairyan, accompanied the brand throughout its history, reaching milestones such as the creation of the first vintage brandy and gaining international recognition at the 1902 World Exhibition in France, the home country of cognac. Today, ARARAT, as the first internationally recognized Armenian brandy brand, is present in 35 countries worldwide.
