About the company
Biscoff Cookies made their initial appearance in the United States in the 1980s, but its history dates back much further. Biscoff Cookies, known as Lotus Speculoos in Europe, are baked in the small Belgian town of Lembeke, in the same location where the founders, the Boone brothers, opened their first bakery in 1932. Once the cookies were packaged, the Boones would drive around town in their trademark red truck to deliver their prized treats door to door. The unique recipe, which uses only the highest-quality ingredients, remains the same more than eight decades later.
