The Alfajor is a pastry confection originary from the Arab world (comes from the word al-Hasu, which means “stuffed”). Alfajores stuffed with dulce de leche and covered with dark or white chocolate.

In 2000 the Márdel started making its own Dulce de Leche according to traditional recipes, with excellent quality raw materials. They brought machinery and qualified personnel from Argentina to elaborate the truly authentic dulce de leche.
