The Niederegger was established in 1806 in Lübeck by confectioner of Johann Georg Niederegger with the target to became famous. He believed the key for the success is the perfect recipe and the quality. Thanks this two aim he sold his sweets to kings and tsars. In our days the firm became world wide known, leaded by the family, saved the original recipe from generation to generation.
