About the company
The company was founded in 1987 by György Schweickhardt a Hungarian confectioner, who started making deep frozen chestnut puree for his confectionery shop. The chestnut puree was so delicious and good quality, that soon it has been sold under “Maroni” brand to wholesalers and retail chains.
