About the company
More than a century ago, Gaspare and Caterina Indelicato immigrated to the United States from Sicily. Twelve years after their arrival in America, they had almost only their family's viticulture tradition and Gaspare's entrepreneurial talent at their disposal, yet they ventured into the wine business. In 1924, he planted grapes in Manteca, California, where the climate reminded them of their homeland. This laid the foundation for his future success in the California wine industry. After the first vineyard flourished, Gaspare's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have been faithfully guarding his legacy ever since, carrying on the values of family, hard work and integrity.
