The Lapis vineyard produces thick, full-bodied wines that can remain firm even in acid. The wine shows a neutral character thanks to the rhyolite, strongly bound soil. The vineyard is very reliable, capable of balanced quality regardless of vintage. The average age of the capitals is 40 years, which can already show every little detail.

The Bodrog Winery was founded in 2007 by János Hajdú and Krisztián Farkas, with recent oenological diplomas in hand. They work on small plots, in excellent areas, in vineyards with historical classification. In addition to organic viticulture, they make wines in a modern style, but inspired by a classical approach.
The aroma of the wine starts with white-fleshed peaches, some citrus, with restrained barrel notes in the background. In the mouth, it is tight, with bright acidity, mineral character, the sip is long, the peach character returns here as well, with a little sweetness at the end. You can feel the aging in barrels, the vintage can be kept for a long time.
