Bobby's was born from the marriage of traditional Schiedam jenever and the finest Indonesian spices. It owes its truly unique, special flavors to the following plants: lemongrass, cloves, coriander, cubeb pepper, cinnamon from the east, and juniper, rosehip and fennel from the west.
Grandfather Bobby Alfons’ original Pinang Raci recipe and family tradition of infusing his jenever with his spice blend inspired grandsons Sebastiaan and David to create Bobby’s Gin. Their journey led to the spirited city of Schiedam, were they found the perfect match in Master Distiller Ad van der Lee at the Herman Jansen Distillery. Together they combined 7 generations of distilling expertise with the treasured family recipe, resulting in the spirits of now: Bobby’s Gin and Bobby’s Jenever. The beloved international spirits connect the East to the West, and the past to the present.
Bobby’s Gin is a refined expression of Dutch Courage fuelled with Indonesian spirit. A fresh and spice-forward combination of ‘Schiedam’ gin botanicals like juniper, fennel seeds, coriander, rose hips, and traditional Indonesian spices as lemon grass, cloves, cinnamon, and cubeb peppers.
