Product description
Despite its intense raspberry flavor, this beer is not just about raspberries, but about the perfectly matched harmony of the sour-yeast and the sweet flavors of the original wheat beer.
It is a very “cheerful” beer, both in terms of appearance and taste. The aroma of raspberries is emphatic but not intrusive, it does not suppress the citrusy tone typical of Belgian wit.
Brasserie Du Bocq is a family-run independent brewery on the banks of the River Namur in a small village called Purnode, with a long history. Founded in 1858, the brewery specializes in making special, high-fermentation beers. Nothing proves their recognition of their expertise and respect for their work better than wishing them a happy 150th birthday a few years ago on the cover of Bierpassie, Belgium’s most widely read beer magazine.
