The first special feature is that the base of the drink is rice spirit, rather than a typical grain spirit. Among the spices, juniper berries are the only traditional ones, the other components of the flavor are anything but traditional. Among them, what gives the drink its real character is pintaja (also known as dragon fruit), ginger and lemon peel. It is highly recommended to taste it on its own or with a Mediterranean tonic.
