Amaretto (Italian for "a little bitter") is a sweet Italian liqueur that originated in Saronno. Depending on the brand, it may be made from apricot kernels, bitter almonds, peach stones, or almonds, all of which are natural sources of the benzaldehyde that provides the almond-like flavour of the liqueur.
Its production is based on the genuine flavours of nature, as well as on quality, simplicity and respect for the environment. The Cellini brand, which has dedicated its name to the multi-faceted Renaissance creator Benvenuto Cellini, also strives to imprint perfection and the details of the most sublime art on its creations.
