The history of the estate dates back to the 15th century, when the Masseria was operated under the management of monks. Later it was owned by several Italian families, and from 2003 it became part of the KIKAU group. Both viticulture and winemaking practices are done organically at the estate, the defining character of which is the long vineyard surrounded by olive trees, thereby ensuring biodiversity in the valley.
This organic wine strikes the eye with its deep and bright ruby colour with violet reflections, while the nose is fruity with aromas of cherries, sweet violets and small wild berries. On the palate our wine is fruity with a mineral character that is perfect for roast game and ripened cheeses.
