The famous E. Guigal winery was founded by Etienne Guigal in 1946 in the Cotie Rotie region of the northern Rhône Valley. His son Marcel joined him in 1961 and is still actively running the estate. The winery is a pioneer in the Rhone Valley who makes wines in a modern way.
Aged for 12 months in stainless steel and a part in second use oak on the lees. Full bodied wine with lovely richness and freshness. 95% Marsanne, supplemented with 5% Roussanne. A long barrel aging result round structure and balance in the wine.
