Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, this Cognac "Barrique 90" comes from the Grande Champagne region, the most prestigious of the Cognac production area. This Cognac "Barrique 90" has aged nearly 30 years in French oak barrels in the cellars of the Domaine Michel Forgeron. It has been patiently reduced by adding distilled water to be offered at 47 degrees of alcohol, a good compromise between preservation of taste and aromas and power in the mouth. Aromas of apricot jam, candied orange and panettone.

About the company
One of the younger brands in the region, the first Michel Forgeron Cognac was released in 1977. The house speciality is single vintage releases bottled at high ABV, not typical of the category. The Forgeron family still manages the estate, living by Michel’s credo ‘work hard, produce better.’
