Product description
The wine has a brilliant, pale gold colour with green reflexes. On the nose it has aromas of blossom and citrus with hints of toasted bread and hazelnut. On the palate it's like a fruit basket with a touch of vanilla and brioche. It has light acidity, a really rich wine typical to Morgeot. Furthermore because of the magnum size of the bottle the wine has a really unique and long ageing potential. "Morgeot" is the largest vineyard in the village of Chassagne, a plot of land called Clos Pitois is fully owned by Roger Belland. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir also produce white and red wine from the 1.5-acre site. White wine is marketed after 8 months of barrel maturation, 30% of which is new barrels. The wine is characterized by a complex fruit grove dominated by citrus.
