The Champs Gains vineyard is located 330 meters above sea level. It is one of the most famous terroirs of Puligny-Montrachet. Up to some geologists, Puligny’s geographic position confers to its wines a great elegance. Les Champ-Gains vineyard is famous for the combination of elegance and ripeness in its wines.

Roger Belland is a 6th generation Burgundian winemaker who grows grapes in the Cote de Beaune region on 23 hectares. Its style is characterized by a creamy round texture and a complex fruity character.
Our chardonnay has brilliant, pale gold colour with green reflexes. It's aromas are mineral and fruity while on the palate we have a rich, complex, well-structured wine with finesse and elegance. Furthermore because of the magnum size of the bottle the wine has a really unique and long ageing potential. Ripe citrus and tropical fruitiness combine with a vibrant acidity in the wine.
