Product description
Pinot gris (grey-friendly) is a world-class grape of French origin, from the Burgundian pinot family, a direct relative of pinot blanc and pinot noir, which is less common in Hungary, and probably originally a mutant clone of pinot noir. Its wine is rich in flavors and extracts, with fine acidity. In Hungary, slow-growing, semi-sweet white wines are made from it, but since the skin of its grayish-white berries has a reddish hue, it can also be used to make a lighter-colored rosé.
