Reddish-brown color top fermentation beer with an alcohol content of 7,50%.
The original abbey called Le Secours Notre-Dame was founded in 1230. The first written record of brewing dates from 1595. The abbey was severely damaged during the French Revolution. The building was restored in 1887, and monks from Achel restarted brewing. The abbey initially made two decoctions based on Achel’s Patersvaajte.
