About the company

The Green Cuisine company is located in the small Norfolk market town of Watton. It is family owned and run, employs about 30 people in a modern factory. It was founded in 1990 by the present directors who have over 30 years experience working with herbs & spices.

Product description

Turmeric has a characteristic brilliant yellow colour and for this is widely used in Indian cooking, pickle manufacture and prepared mustard. It has a mild, aromatic, lemon flavour and features in many Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. For colouring it is sometimes used as a cheaper alternative to saffron.
