The Green Cuisine company is located in the small Norfolk market town of Watton. It is family owned and run, employs about 30 people in a modern factory. It was founded in 1990 by the present directors who have over 30 years experience working with herbs and spices.

Nutmeg comes from the Spice Islands. It is a pleasantly aromatic but very strong spice, which should be handled with care. Nutmeg is widely used in Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Indian cuisine. It is also a perfect ingredient for baking, flavouring dairy desserts and sauces, and in savoury dishes.
