The history of Pisco Waqar dates back to 1850 when Doña Escolástica Álvarez and Don Rafael Camposano got married, thus uniting two families whose Pisco tradition is lost in the origins of the Spanish colony in Chile. Since then 5 generations have followed each other accumulating the experience of caring for the vine and the art of distilling, until finally in 2011, 160 years after the union between Escolástica and Rafael, the first transparent Ultra Premium pisco is released in Chile, PISCO WAQAR. today present in the main capitals of the world.
To the senses WAQAR is transparent, young and pristine, fine and delicate, with captivating aromas of white fruits, citrus and orange blossoms. When drinking it reveals a delicious, round and dry flavor, without annoying burning, the aromas spread in the mouth transporting us to the fresh fruit of the vineyards while a slight itching punctures the senses, when leaving it leaves a pleasant memory for a long moment that fades slowly and subtly.
