This tomato sauce is prepared using sun-ripened, homegrown tomatoes.
We know, nothing compares to home made sauces. And if you made a double quantity and froze half, you'd always have a sauce to hand. - But some of us aren't that organised, or we don't have the freezer space. And occasionally, just occasionally, you really can't be bothered. But you still deserve to eat well, so whenever we discover a ready made sauce that's almost as good as home made, we suggest the Donna Antonia sauses.

After an old, traditional recipe these tomatoes are carefully prepared using very little salt giving it it’s tasty flavor. The sauce has the addition of a sautéed mixture containing celery, carrots and onions and peperoncino from the Val di Sangro. Very flavorful, pleasant sweetness, concentrated taste.
