Paccheri has its origins in Campania, Italy, and is traditionally used in Neapolitan cuisine.
Pastificio Gentile, established in 1876, is one of the historic artisanal factories that made the city of Gragnano famous around the world for its pasta. Gentile even today preserves the traditional production methods and the attention to every detail, from the selection of raw materials to the production phases control. The semolina chosen is strictly of Italian origin and of the best quality; among the selected varieties is Senatore Cappelli. The wheat is processed with care and respect at the Ferro Brothers Mill in Campobasso. Pasta shapes are bronze cut, it creates a rougher more porous pasta giving the pasta a homemade quality. The excellent raw material allows the production of a premium quality pasta, and the natural drying method “Cirillo” preserves its distinct aroma and texture.
