Founded in 1876, the Pastificio Gentile is one of the historic craft factories that made the city of Gragnano, near Naples, one of the world-famous Italian pasta capitals. They still work with traditional production methods in their factory, paying great attention to every detail, from the selection of raw materials to the control of the production phases. Only the best quality Italian durum wheat is used, such as the special Senatore Cappelli wheat, which is ground in the Ferro Brothers mill in Campobasso. The dough is formed with bronze tools, which gives a rougher, more porous texture that gives the dough a homely feel. Thanks to the high-quality ingredients and Cirillo's natural drying method, they make perfect, premium-quality pasta.
