Franchi are probably the oldest family run seed company in the world and one of the largest in Italy. Large, round lavender-purple fruit. Beautiful and tastes as good as it looks. Good producer. Mid/early variety. Direct sow 1cm deep when soil has warmed up or grow from 8 week transplants. Space to 40-50cm and provide support. Eggplants need sunlight to thrive. The 10-12 cm fruit are meaty and mild flavored with a texture that lends itself to all your gourmet eggplant dishes.
