After two years of planning, preparation and hard work, April 17, 2018 marked the turning point in their story. It was then that they received the tax warehouse permit for the plant, thanks to which Hungary's first real gin distillery was born. The distillery traditions of Pest, forgotten in the last century, have been revived in Újpest, where the distilleries and their bar are operated in an industrial warehouse on the site of the late cotton factory founded in 1882. Their artisanal gin - which has won a series of international awards - has proven to be a real success story. At the end of 2020, our flagship bar Sfinx Gin and Wine Bar was opened on the most beautiful avenue in Budapest, Andrássy út.
