Amastuola Negroamaro is a powerful, organic red, made from Negroamaro ("black bitter"), one of Pugla's indigenous grape varieties. Muscular, it's packed with ripe, dark fruits.

Negroamaro has a fairly intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it shows a scent of fresh fruit with hints of wild berries. Balsamic and Mediterranean base with hints of myrtle and mastic. On the palate, smooth entry, with a good balanced body and some spice.
The history of the estate dates back to the 15th century, when the Masseria was operated under the management of monks. Later it was owned by several Italian families, and from 2003 it became part of the KIKAU group. Both viticulture and winemaking practices are done organically at the estate, the defining character of which is the long vineyard surrounded by olive trees, thereby ensuring biodiversity in the valley.
