The famous E. Guigal winery was founded by Etienne Guigal in 1946 in the Cotie Rotie region of the northern Rhône Valley. His son Marcel joined him in 1961 and is still actively running the estate. The winery is a pioneer in the Rhone Valley who makes wines in a modern way.
