La Locomotora Reserva comes from a dry and warm vintage of pure Tempranillo from Briones vineyards and is fermented in stainless steel tanks, decanted and uncrushed, with indigenous yeasts.

Locomotora is a joint project between Miguel Angel de Gregorio, owner of the prestigious Finca Allende, and Quim Villa, owner of Villa Vineteca. The original idea was to source the best fruit from unique vineyards (Pagos) selected for the quality of the terroir and the age of the grapes. Originally the grapes were purchased, but later the vineyards were purchased to ensure continuity and integrity. Winemaking, bottling and aging then take place at Finca Allende. The result: very clean, elegant and unique wines are made.
It was aged in French barriques for 2 years, 30% of which went into new barrels. A total of 8,500 bottles were produced. Grapey and juicy, with high ripeness, plum and raisin notes. Weakly spicy, with fine granular tannins and a dry finish. "
