Product description
One of the most significant wines of the Egerszalók winery, which fully presents the estate, different areas, vineyards, soils, varieties and barrels. The first one was made in 2000, then exclusively from Cabernet Franc. Today, this is the central element of the bull's blood concept in the range. Kékfrankos, which best expresses the characteristics of the region, provides the basis, which is complemented by cabernet franc, merlot, pinot noir and syrah varieties. Before blending, each lot is aged in 5-hectare barrels for 15 months. The composition of the final wine depends on the blending of Nagy-Eged and Agapé, so sometimes 1-1 grapes from areas with calcareous soil can also contribute to the winemaking.
