About the company
The m&m's brand name comes from the surnames of the inventors, Forrest Mars and Bruce Murrie. The special dragee-like but disc-shaped candies with colored coating were launched by the Mars company in 1941. The very popular candies with a wide variety of flavors can be recognized by the letter 'm' printed on the eyes.
