This Cognac "Barrique 93" has been aged for more than 25 years in French oak barrels in the cellars of Domaine Michel Forgeron. It has been patiently reduced by adding distilled water to be offered at 47 degrees of alcohol, a good compromise between preservation of taste and aromas and power in the mouth. A palette of woody, spicy and sweet notes (of prune) that we find in the mouth.

One of the younger brands in the region, the first Michel Forgeron Cognac was released in 1977. The house speciality is single vintage releases bottled at high ABV, not typical of the category. The Forgeron family still manages the estate, living by Michel’s credo ‘work hard, produce better.’
