In 1858 Antonio Mattei set up a business in Prato producing and selling the typical almond-flavoured „Biscotti di Prato”. The results of his unique recipe gained immediate popularity and won prizes for high-quality bakery. The long established company of Antonio Mattei, now run by the Pandolfini family for three generations continues the manufacturing tradition of „Biscotti di Prato”, and takes pride in being able to guarantee the flavour and fragrance of the original products.
