Wai Wai rice vermicelli 400g

The term rice vermicelli, is often used to describe thin rice noodles, much like those popularly eaten by the Chinese, however, it goes by many other names too: In Hokkien, rice vermicelli is known as 'bee hoon,' in Burma, as 'kyar-zun,' in Thailand, as 'sen mee' and in Vietnam, as 'bún.' Rice vermicelli is not to be confused with glass noodles, which are made from Mung bean flour and appear transparent when cooked, whereas rice vermicelli, as its name implies, is made from rice flour and as such turns a whitish color when cooked.
