About the company

Rice vinegar is a vinegar made from fermented rice or rice wine in China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. White rice vinegar is a colourless to pale yellow liquid, higher in vinegar content and more similar to Western vinegars, but still less acidic and milder in flavour. The well-balanced acidity is excellent as an addition not only to Asian but also to Hispanic, European and American dishes. The higher vinegar content of white rice vinegar makes it the best choice for sweet and/or tangy dishes, for salad dressings and for pickling vegetables. Use it in place of wine vinegar or lemon juice!

Product description

Rice vinegar is made from fermented rice or, in some countries, rice wine. The main countries producing and using rice vinegar are China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Rice vinegar, which ranges in colour from completely translucent to light yellow, has a lower acetic acid content than non-Asian vinegars and is therefore much milder. It can be used in sweet and spicy dishes, as a salad dressing or to marinate vegetables.
