A Japanese blended whiskey without an exact age indication, made from whiskeys from several unnamed distilleries on the island of Honshu. Fuyu (meaning: winter) has the soft and silky taste characteristic of Japanese whiskies, which is mainly provided by the exceptionally crystal clear spring water used by the distillery.
Greens, sandalwood and a touch of earthy peat can be felt in its aromas, followed by slowly developing nuances of butter rye. On the palate, stone fruits and sweetness contrast with luscious grains and subtle nutmeg warmth. You can taste dusty oak and earthy vanilla in the finish.
